The study shows the importance of considering comorbidities in the clinical evaluation of children with restrictive eating problems. Restrictive eating problems are highly present in children with neurodevelopmental problems. This study describes the phenotypes regarding psychiatric and gastrointestinal comorbidities in children with restrictive eating problems.
It concludes that children with restrictive eating problems are more likely to have psychiatric and gastrointestinal problems.
